ABSTRACT

Abstracts will be accepted only for those who have registered for the meeting. Only one abstract per registrant will be accepted. Some abstracts will be chosen for oral presentation.

Deadline for submission of Abstracts: September 15, 2008

In addition, we are planning a "Best Poster Award", so that postdocs and graduate students are encouraged to apply!. Please be sure that you have to present a "Poster" to be nominated for this award (you can do both oral and poster presentation if you will).

Abstract Format:

Use either Arial or Helvetica fonts (12 point), and type with single spacing. Try to use the Symbol font for Greek and Scientific symbols (alpha, beta, gamma, etc.) to ensure correct syntax when printed in the Abstract Book.

The abstract should be prepared as follows:

1. BRIEF TITLE IN CAPITAL LETTERS AND BOLD TYPE

Leave one line before authors' names and institutional affiliations.

2. Full names of authors, bold type, and presenting author underlined

3. Affiliation (Institution, city, and country)

Leave one line before commencing abstract.

4. Text single-spaced, up to 250 words.

Instructions for Submission of Abstracts:

1.        Send abstract by e-mail as an attachment in MS Word to: jkata@bs.naist.jp.

2.        File name should appear as: ZV_LASTNAME.doc

3.        The e-mail subject line: ZOMESV Abstract

4.        Please include the following information in the accompanying e-mail message:

Ø        Full details of the submitting author (name, institution, faculty, dept. address, tel., fax, e-mail).

Ø        Your preference: oral presentation or poster.

(You can substitute this with "Registration Form".)
